Zanesville Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Zanesville, Ohio.
The Club was established in 1899. The building of the present 18-hole golf course on Military Road began in September of 1931. Charles "Chick" Evans was the golf course architect and Donald Ross also collaborated on the project. The present 18-hole golf course was opened for play July 4, 1933.
The course is a parkland style layout with tree lined fairways. The greens are small, slightly sloped and include subtle breaks.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,877 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,656 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 541 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 166 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 10, a 464 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, a 166 yard par-3.
